Consultation Event 3 July

To enable the public to be involved in the next stage of the process a Community Consultation Event will be held at 7 pm in the Hall on Monday July 3rd 2017 where Charles, our architect (from Studio West Architects in St Just), will be present along with our first set of plans. Also present will be our adviser from CRCC (Cornwall Rural Community Charity) and members of the Hall’s Committee to answer any questions from members of the community and also to take on their board comments – it is your Hall so your opinions are really fundamental in the development of the project to upgrade the existing building.

Nurturing For Carers

This is a new initiative for us, funded by CRCC, and will be hosted by Claire Lucas, Nicolle Fisher and Sarah Judd. It will include “Nourishing, supportive & inspiring drop-in activities for people who are caring for friends or family of any age at home”.

Activities will include gentle yoga, creativity/crafts, life coaching tools to support your own health and wellbeing, relaxation & meditation, as well as making & eating healthy food!

There will be a choice of 3 FREE sessions each day – Come to all or any at the Hall on Wednesday August 2nd and Sunday August 13th (sessions will run from 10-1 pm, 2-5 pm & 6-9 pm with cookery demos at 1 pm & 5 pm)

As there is a maximum number of 8 people per session, booking will be essential.
