Set up at a time when the cost of living was rising ridiculously. So we set out to provide a safe and warm place where people could get together.

Souper Wednesday the brain child of Kevin and Lisa Hannigan is a great social event run by volunteers, supporting the community. Souper WEDNESDAY, now known as soup & social was set up at a time when the cost of living was rising ridiculously. So we set out to provide a safe and warm  place where people could get together.From those early days in Nov 2022, where we started with soup and bread roll for a free lunch,it has grown so that we offer soup & roll tea/ coffee,biscuits cakes ice creams board games and great company. It is nice to see that people who came to use soup and social,now have additional small groups for other activities.

 Our aim is to continue the group,with possible tea dances and trips out on other days of the week and we hope you keep the only rule
